📋 Creating & Sending a Direct Booking Quote in OwnerRez
If a guest wants to book directly (outside Airbnb, VRBO, etc.), follow this process to generate and send a quote through OwnerRez. Also Refer to the exact process via this internal link for Zelle information.
🔐 Step 1: Log In & Start a New Quote
- Log into your OwnerRez account.
- Go to the “Bookings” tab.
- Click the “➕ Create Quote” button in the top left.
🏡 Step 2: Enter Quote Details
In the pop-up window:
- 📄 Quote Type: Choose “Quote”
- 🏠 Property: Select the correct property
- 📅 Dates & 👥 Party Size: Enter the guest’s check-in/out dates and number of guests and pets (if applicable)
- Click “Create Quote”
👤 Step 3: Add Guest Info
- Begin typing the guest’s name.
- If they’re an existing contact, it will autofill.
- If it’s a new guest, click “➕ Add” to create a new contact.
- Input at least:
- First & Last Name
- 📞 Phone Number
- DO NOT SELECT A. LISITNG SITE SOURCE OR ELSE WE WILL BE CHARGED BY THE PLATFORM
- Click 💾 Save
💰 Step 4: Review & Modify Charges
OwnerRez will auto-generate quote totals. Always double check by clicking “Modify Charges” to ensure:
- ✅ Accurate nightly rates (especially if the dates are for XMAS/NYE or in Season (February-April)
- 🛌 Bed Linens of $25
- 🧽 Cleaning fee
- 🏷️ Proper taxes
- 🛡️ Property damage coverage of $100
- 💳 Credit card processing fee
- 🐾 Pet fee or 🎉 Event fee, if applicable
- 💰 Discounts, if applicable
🔍 Adjust anything as needed by clicking the ‘Change’ button next to the Charges title, and save it before proceeding.
📤 Step 5: Send the Quote
- Click the “Send Quote” green button on the quote page, or the “Send” button tab.
- Always select, ‘Send from OwnerRez’ as the option to send.
- The default email template will open.
- ✍️ Add a personal note if needed.
- ✅ Check “Send me a copy” at the bottom.
- Click “Send Email”.
📩 A copy of the quote will be sent to reservations@easyairrentals.com automatically.
