🌴 Using Channel Bridge & Chrome Extensions for Booking Imports

📌 Purpose:

To streamline the process of importing booking data from third-party channels (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.) into OwnerRez using OwnerRez’s Channel Bridge and Chrome tools.


🔧 Tools Needed:

  1. OwnerRez Channel Bridge Chrome Extension

🔄 As Needed Task: Channel Bridge Sync

Step 1: Open the Channel Platform (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com)

  • Login to your host account on your preferred channel.

Step 2: Launch the Channel Bridge Extension

  • Click the Channel Bridge icon from your browser toolbar.
  • Follow the prompts to begin data download (reservations, transactions, guest info, etc.).

Step 3: Export Booking Data

  • Channel Bridge generates and downloads a formatted spreadsheet (CSV/Excel) ready for:
    • Import into OwnerRez
    • Use in internal reports or audits

🧭 Where to Find It in OwnerRez:

  • Go to Settings → Channel Bridge
  • Import Bookings into OwnerRez by uploading the Excel file that was downloaded to your computer.

🛠️ Troubleshooting:

  • If Channel Bridge isn’t working:
    • Ensure your Chrome extension is up to date.
    • Log out and back into the channel website.

Best Practices:

  • Use Channel Bridge regularly to ensure all bookings and updates are synced into OwnerRez.
  • Always check for sync errors or skipped records after running the import.
  • For quick data grabs or backup, use Chrome table capture extensions.
  • Keep your Chrome extensions updated and bookmarks handy for easy access.
