🧽📲 Sending Cleaning Schedules on WhatsApp from Operto
Purpose:
To ensure all assigned cleaners are updated daily with their cleaning schedule based on the most current booking calendar in Operto.
🔁 When to Complete This Task
- Every shift if Jell is not working.
- This task ensures no cleans are missed and that the cleaners have full visibility into upcoming departures.
🔐 1. Login to Operto
- Go to Operto Login
- Email: Use Katie’s email address
- Password: Access via LastPass 💡 If you don’t have LastPass access, ask Katie for the credentials or shared access.
📆 2. View the Booking Calendar
- Once logged in, click on the “Schedule” tab
- Click the ‘Advanced Filter’ tool to filter by cleaner
- Change the dates from the day you are checking to the end of that month
- Under ‘Staff,’ select the cleaners initials to filter only their cleanings
- Click ‘Apply’ to view cleanings
- Use the below template to enter the date and the property and whether its a same day cleaning (‘SMDY’ in yellow highlight to the left of task)
- Note any same-day turns (check-out and check-in on the same day)

📋 3. Format the Cleaning Schedule
Use this structure to prepare each cleaner’s message:

July 7 - 745 Tallapoosa
July 10 - 728 Golfview
July 14 - 3602 Sherwood
July 15 - 321 Monceaux
July 17 - 2420 Holly Ln (same day)

- Always list in date order
- Include (same day) where applicable
- Double-check for any notes or time-sensitive requests per booking
📲 4. Send via WhatsApp
- Open the Cleaner’s WhatsApp Group
- Paste your formatted message
- Use the @mention to tag the correct cleaner
- Send and monitor for any questions or confirmations

- If Jell is working, verify it’s been sent—no duplication needed
- Keeping cleaners informed avoids delays, improves turnover speed, and keeps properties guest-ready
