Maintenance – with guest present and not present

Handling maintenance when guests are not in the home.
All the homes have weekly maintance for the exteriors of the property, such as the lawn service or pool service. Property maintance can include a number of things and would include having to call out plumbers, electricians, cleaners, landscapers, and more.
The process:
When a guest departs and after the cleaners do a clean, the Property Manager does a check of the whole property. This includes the following:

  1. Ensuring that all drives, garages and entries are safe and functional
  2. Maintaining the building or space, which can include small repairs to much more significant issues (including appliance maintenance, upgrades and more).
  3. Checking the exterior of the home at the following;
  4. The Pool: Make sure the pool is maintained, clean and may need to remove some loose debris. Check that the pool vacuum is in the pool and working.
  5. Hot Tub: If there is a hot tub, check that the temperature is set to the appropriate temperature for that specific property.
  6. Grass, trees and loose Palm Tree fronds are not lying around.
  7. Make sure the garbage bins are brought back in from the road on collection day.
